French Rosewood Marquetry Bar Cabinet

A dazzling French bar cabinet is inlaid with beautiful marquetry in rosewood, mahogany, satinwood and ebony with floral designs against diamond matched and banded panels, all gracefully curved.
Inside are coppery mirrors and an automatic red light, rewired for American 110 volt current. The work surface is a beveled mirror with a small area of silvering deteriorated at the right edge, see photo.
Entirely original, the gleaming finish is excellent with warm patina, there are small scratches in the top and faint crackling, barely visible in photos. Locks are operational, cast bronze mounts are original from about 1940.
This is stellar quality vintage furniture with European hand craftsmanship at its best. Measurements are 38" wide, 17" deep, 46" tall and the serving area is 30" high when opened.
