This Georgian design classic breakfront china cabinet or bookcase with a pull out desk was hand crafted in America about 60 years ago.
The original finish is very well preserved with minor mars at the edges, see photos. Richly figured mahogany has warm patina.
Upper doors have working "Made in USA" locks. Individual wavy "antique" glass panes are set in traditional grillwork. Three separate banks of adjustable shelves have grooves to display plates.
The pull out drop front desk has a gold tooled leather writing surface with a few stains for character, inside are small cubicles and drawers for papers.
Large lower drawers are finished inside and have tiny hand cut dovetail joints on solid oak sides.
For easier moving, the upper section is removable on this superior quality vintage furniture. Measurements are 76" wide, 15" deep and 7' 1" tall.
