Unsigned but a product of high end maker, "Maitland Smith," this round dining table has eight curved leaves and a spinning lazy susan center.
Lavishly inlaid and banded, the top is matched flame grain mahogany, satinwood, tulipwood and ebony, supported by a solid mahogany "birdcage" base.
This classic Georgian design table is less than 10 years old. All original, the hand rubbed finish is in excellent condition with a few small scratches plus mars and losses to some tips of the leaves as shown. The ingenious configuration has sturdy pull out supports under the leaves, which have dentil molding on the rims.
The top is 1 1/2" thick and 30" tall, without the leaves, diameter is 5' across, with all 8 leaves in place, diameter is 7' 4" across.
