An elegant Victorian era tilting water pitcher, stand and cup is signed "Patented Nov. 3, 1868, Meriden Silver Co.," famous silversmiths of Connecticut.
The silver plate is in extremely fine condition, enhancing delicate hand engraving. In the base is a drip pan to collect condensation. There is an insulating porcelain liner. There are various dings and dents and the lid hinge has been silver soldered, see photos.
Pitcher size is 12" tall, the stand is 17" tall and 12" wide.
