Magnificently carved, this distinctive sideboard or "demi-lune" half-round hall console is signed "Romweber of Batesville, IN," the famous furniture maker for the White House, Shah of Iran, the Sultan of Brunei and now for you as well.
Their unique designs are original, featuring lavish detailing plus rare acacia burl, matched and banded panels and graceful fruitwood frames.
Vintage furniture from about 50 years ago, the original finish is excellent with warm golden patina and small mars in the top, see photos. Dovetailed drawers have original brasses, the top silver drawer is velvet lined with removable dividers.
Measurements are 74" long, 24" deep and 34" tall.
