A palatial vitrine or curio display cabinet was hand carved of wormy hardwood with a distressed "Florentine" or dark gold leaf finish. Dating from about 1910, on the back is the maker's label with their showrooms in Rome. The original finish is in very fine condition with just enough wear for a little antique character.
All the glass is shaped and beveled, the lock and key still work on this Baroque furniture from Italy. Shelves have some stains and fading, they could be upholstered if desired.
Measurements are 28" wide, 16" deep and 73" tall.
