A ship's "Binnacle," or stand for a compass on deck from the early 1900's is signed "Standard Compass, Clinometer, Osaka, Japan." The empty interior of this boat salvage could be a bar cabinet.
This well worn nautical antique has a removable copper and brass cover and engraved signature plates. Iron compensating compass balls are adjustable and corroded.
The finish is in excellent condition, preserving rust, stains, losses and wear for antique character.
Measurements are 33" across, 15" deep and 49" tall.
