A beautifully carved late Victorian or Eastlake period settee or sofa has floral motifs and carved lion paw armrests and shows Aesthetic Movement influence.
- Victorian period American office or library furniture from about 1875
- Richly carved of solid mahogany with intricate details and lion paws
- Original crazed varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Minor mars for character
- Recent natural leather upholstery is in very fine condition and has been cleaned and buffed
- Brass nail head trim
Size is 62.5" wide, 24" deep, and 38" tall with seat 23" deep and 16" high.
