This stunningly hand carved back bar or sideboard has winged griffin sculptures, spiral columns, game birds and wonderful hand enameled stained glass portraits of the wedding couple for whom this was created.
- 1880s antique furniture from the Black Forest where Germany, France and Switzerland meet
- Sculpted of solid oak with loads of quarter sawn grain
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving minor mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Carved drawer pulls are original, doors have working locks & keys
- Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints
- Stained & leaded glass doors with enameled glass portraits
- Removable wood shelves
- Top, center & base disassemble for delivery
Size is 53" wide, 24" deep and 95.5" tall.
