Bamboo Carved Cherry Full or Double Bed and Nightstand Set

Carved of solid cherry to look like bamboo about 1880 during the Japanese craze, this bed fits a standard full or double mattress as shown.

The finish is excellent on this exquisite antique furniture from France. Original side rails are boldly proportioned, wooden slats to support the mattress are included.

The nightstand or bedside table has a marble top. The finish is excellent the drawer is hand dovetailed and the compartment below is lined with marble.

The bed measures 57" wide and 82" long, the headboard is 46" tall and the footboard is 40" tall. The nightstand is 15" square and 30 1/2" tall.

The standard full mattress and box spring used for the photos is 20" thick.
