Burl & Black Lacquer Vintage Leather Top Library Writing Desk, Drexel #28829

A writing desk from about 50 years ago has its original painted black lacquer finish, brass mounts and pulls and elm burl top. Gracefully curved all around, this vintage furniture is signed by famous maker, "Drexel."
The top has been revarnished for durability, there are rings and dings in the gold tooled leather panels, see photos. Drawers have solid oak sides on this library desk.
Size is 53" long, 27" deep, 29 1/2" tall and legroom is 23-24" underneath.
