Country Cherry Carpenter Tool Box Chest

Hand made about 1870, a cherry carpenter's tool box or chest has hand cut dovetail joinery at the corners. It has a burned in signature "CHW Ashburn New Alstead NH."
Inside are tool compartments. The finish is excellent with lots of antique country character and patina - mars, stains and wear.
This nostalgic Wisconsin antique furniture could be used as a coffee table.
Dimensions are 23" long, 18" deep and 13 1/2" tall.
