Signed by famous maker, "Drexel Heritage" and about 25 years old, this traditional Georgian style breakfront china cabinet or bookcase is all original.
Mahogany with yew wood banding and inlaid oval ebony and flame mahogany panels, the finish is very well preserved with minor mars and touchups. This vintage furniture has been waxed and polished, so an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is all that is needed to maintain its warm glow.
The interior is lighted, books should be kept away from the top mounted bulbs. Three separate banks of adjustable thick plate glass shelves have carved grooves to display plates, if desired. Drawers have dovetailed solid oak sides, there is a removable Pacific cloth silverware caddy.
This elegant cabinet is two separate pieces for easier moving. Dimensions are 64" wide, 17" deep and 7' 1" tall including the classical pierced pediment.
