A magnificent oak hall mirror and stand with umbrella and cane holders was hand carved in France about 1875, and would also be beautiful in a dressing area. Gothic tracery, linen fold panels and a carved head show remarkable artistry.
The original finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. A tiny drawer has hand cut dovetail joints. The shaped and beveled arched mirror has a little antique "smoke" to show its age.
Hand wrought iron hooks and mounts are original on this historic European furniture. Measurements are 47" wide, 12" deep and 8' 1" tall.
