Pair of Italian 1910 Carved Walnut Library Chairs, Leather Upholstery

Carved of walnut about 1910 in northern Italy, these chairs are in beautiful condition. Leather backs are original, comfortable seats have been newly upholstered in natural saddle leather using original brass nailhead trim.
Frames are strong and tight with their original finish in very fine condition, there are minor mars at the edges. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the warm antique patina.
Classical fluted motifs and hand carving are understated on this furniture from Europe.
Measurements are 27" wide, 23" deep, 42" tall and seats are 19" high.
