Masterful three dimensional hand carving is remarkable on this 1920's curio or china display cabinet from Japan.
The deep charcoal lacquer finish is in excellent condition. There is a gap around the glass door and interior shelves have warps, see photos. The key is a handle only, the lock does not work.
A mirror in the back is behind a carved floral frieze. The lower compartment has sliding doors. Even the backside of this splendid Asian heirloom cabinet is richly detailed.
Measurements are 36" wide, 18" deep and 75 1/2" tall.
