A dramatic Victorian period statue depicts a mother and her baby escaping a fire. She steps from a dormer and rests against a chimney on the rooftop as flames lick her feet as she looks for help.
- Antique sculpture from about 1870 in the manner of Hippolyte Moreau
- Spelter cast metal alloy, similar to pewter
- In very fine condition with minor wear
- Child is missing pointer finger
