The high-relief Renaissance style artistry in this china or curio cabinet or bookcase cabinet includes magnificent hand-carving in remarkably high relief with game birds and fish. Solid oak furniture from about 1880, the carved borders and spiral columns are especially wonderful.
Stately and sculptural moldings are also hand carved. Deep and rich, the original finish has been cleaned and polished - it is warm with marvelous patina. Shelves inside are adjustable on wooden supports. Doors have shaped beveled glass window. drawers have hand-cut dovetails and carved pulls. The base is a separate piece for moving.
Measurements of this historic palatial antique are 54" wide, 26" deep and 8' 3" tall including the removable finials, 7' 9" tall without.
